UNFPA ESARO‘s regional flagship programmes, Safeguard Young People Programme (SYP) and the Joint UN Programme to Strengthen Integrated SRHR/HIV and SGBV Services in the ESA Region (2Gether 4 SRHR) established this DFA Monitoring (Data For All) online platform in March 2019 to enable effective and efficient monitoring and reporting of the results of the initiatives. This is in line with UNFPA’s Strategic Plan for 2018-2021 that specifies that the organization should use the results-based management approach to manage the full cycle of programmes, from planning, monitoring and reporting, to evaluation, as well as use evaluative evidence to improve programme design and implementation.
